Sheltered Housing, sometimes known as Assisted Living, offers independence whilst remaining part of a friendly and sociable shared house. On-site staff are available to help during the day and residents often dine together, with meals typically included.

Independent Living is designed for active, self-reliant individuals. This service offers you affordable accommodation to live completely self-sufficient in one of our apartments with communal hubs to socialise and connect with your neighbours.

Our Residential Care Homes are designed for those with personal care needs requiring one-to-one support from a qualified carer. Live with the security of on-site staff who are there 24 hours a day to provide support, engaging activities and companionship.

Volunteer with Abbeyfield

We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities and have countless roles to suit the amount of time you can give. Volunteering roles include gardening, looking after pet hens, befriender, activities assistants, admin support and many more.

Abbeyfield societies in Scotland (ASIS) offer a range of sheltered housing and care homes in Scotland. ASIS was originally founded in 2011. They have 15 locations across the country, providing quality accommodation, care and support for older people.
